Topographic mementos

I hope you are enjoying the lovely weather we have in New England. Spring has brought some exciting art news, including CAA’s invitation for a public art installation of larger works inspired by the man-made environmental disruption: climate change, extreme weather, ocean pollution, and the resulting social injustice. These abstract topographies simultaneously evoke cellular structures and reminisce geographies of oceans and lands, in their constant struggle to survive, adapting under the endless pressure of exploitation and environmental change: Worlds that, ultimately, will adjust and endure -- but we may not be there to bear witness. It is my wish that my topographic visions remind us of what we need to save.
