Summertime

If you are on this side of the world, I hope you are experiencing the richness and exuberance of nature this Summer, from copious tree canopies to the abundant wildlife roaming around. On a recent visit to Walden Pond, I was reminded of Thoreau’s wisdom: "I love nature, I love the landscape, because it is so sincere. It never cheats me. It never jests. It is cheerfully musically earnest." (from Thoreau’s journal; Nov 16, 1850). In a world where truth, science, and the facts are progressively distorted for the personal interest of a few, I find solace immersed in the certainty of nature. I hope you do too.
In my studio, I feel blessed that I have been able to work solidly in some new pieces, preparing for some exciting shows. It is thrilling to share about some special opportunities related to my art and my environmental mission:
Solo exhibit in Paris: As I mentioned in my last communication, I was recently invited to exhibit my works at the French non-profit organization Citepa, committed to the ecological transition by producing reliable knowledge on air pollutants and greenhouse gases to address climate change and air pollution. "Evidence on canvas: visualizing climate change" was a museum-quality exhibit, produced by Citepa’s staff, that highlighted the importance of marrying art and science for better communication and inspiration for much needed environmental action. My painting "The Impossible Cloud”, featured in my last blog post (and now available as limited-edition prints), was acquired by Citepa so it now lives in Paris. See more about the exhibit reception in Citepa’s post here. I feel so honored with this unique opportunity to share my work and mission.
Virtual gallery/silent auction: Check out the Eco.Art Gallery/Silent Auction showcasing some incredible artwork, including 6 favorite works by yours truly! The month-long event is a great way to discover and support artists, get inspired through art, and support Eco.Logic’s fundraising efforts. All bids must be placed by 9 pm ET on July 25, 2026. More exciting art exhibits are coming up this year, including 2 Fall and 1 Winter shows of the i3C artists group, and a Winter solo exhibit at the Multicultural Arts Center. Stay tuned for future blog posts.
