This is my last blog post of 2025, as I will take a break next month. With the imminence of the holiday time to celebrate gratitude with loved ones, today I want to send you something special.

As you know, we recently lost a human like no other, Jane Goodall. This extraordinary and iconic primatologist, anthropologist, conservationist, and humanitarian recently passed away and with her, humanity lost a treasure, a true hero for Nature and the Planet. But her legacy is enormous to continue to inspire human reconnection to nature.

If you haven’t already, I invite you to listen to Jane Goodall’s planned last words to humanity. You can watch her on the Netflix platform or read her words here  - although watching Jane talk to you on camera is an emotional yet heartening treat. “I want you to understand that we are part of the natural world. And even today, when the planet is dark, there still is hope. Don’t lose hope. If you lose hope, you become apathetic and do nothing. And if you want to save what is still beautiful in this world – if you want to save the planet for the future generations, your grandchildren, their grandchildren – then think about the actions you take each day.”

Jane’s message is that hope is not passive - it’s about action, about standing up, making a difference, and fighting for our Earth, all its inhabitants, and for the future generations that will call it home. Jane invites us to reflect on how each of us can contribute to this call, this movement, to continue her mission: to make a positive difference for our shared - and only - planet.

And about my art, here is some exciting news:

  • My solo exhibit “WHO WILL SPEAK FOR THE EARTH?” at the Massachusetts State House (3rd floor next to the Senate Chamber, Boston, MA) will run until Jan 2026 - Opening reception: Thu Nov 20, 2025 (3-5 pm)

  • Now open in Australia! As part of the Dream Map Project, organized by Sofie Dieu and Gaelle Chassery, my work is at the exhibition “Dream and Health, Women’s Knowledge of Plants”, curated by Sofie Dieu, at the Kingston Arts Centre (East Melbourne, Australia), until January 10, 2026

  • There is still time to visit the postcards show “Wish You Were Here” at the Multicultural Arts Center (Cambridge, MA), on view until Nov 21, 2025

I wish you health, hope, action, and joy in the last few weeks of 2025 along with your loved ones.

Until next year
